Inner Thigh Ptosis:
The Clinical Challenge
A Thigh Lift, or Cruroplasty, at NodensCare is the surgical solution for inner thigh ptosis, the sagging skin and redundant tissue on the upper legs. This condition is frequently a result of massive weight loss or the natural aging process, where the skin’s tensile strength and elasticity are lost. The procedure involves the direct excision of redundant skin and the tightening of the underlying supportive tissues to restore a firm, toned appearance from the groin to the knee.

Liposuction-Assisted Arm Contouring
To achieve a truly athletic and streamlined silhouette, our surgeons often combine the skin excision with advanced Liposuction. This dual approach allows for the removal of stubborn localized fat deposits while simultaneously addressing skin laxity. By thinning the subcutaneous fat layer before tightening the skin, we can better define the underlying triceps and biceps muscles, resulting in an arm contour that looks naturally fit rather than just surgically pulled.
Incision Mapping and Scar Placement Strategy
To achieve a truly athletic and streamlined silhouette, our surgeons often combine skin excision with advanced Liposuction. This dual approach allows for the removal of stubborn localized fat deposits, often referred to as saddlebags or inner thigh fat, while simultaneously addressing skin laxity. By thinning the subcutaneous fat layer before tightening the skin, we can better define the underlying quadriceps and adductor muscles, resulting in a leg contour that looks naturally fit rather than just surgically pulled.
The Longitudinal Fascio-Cutaneous Tightening Process
The success of a Thigh Lift relies on the tightening of the deep fascia, the connective tissue that holds the leg's shape. Our surgeons don't just pull the skin; they anchor the internal tissues (specifically the Colles' fascia) to create a stable foundation. This longitudinal tightening ensures that the results are durable and that the skin does not quickly sag again. We use internal, absorbable sutures to manage the tension, which promotes a flatter, more aesthetic scar during the maturation phase.
The 10-Day International Patient Safety Protocol
Safety is paramount for our international patients, particularly regarding the risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) or seroma (fluid buildup). Our protocol requires a mandatory 10-day stay in Istanbul. During this time, we provide specialized compression garments and conduct daily clinical assessments to monitor lymphatic drainage and incision integrity. This window ensures the patient is sufficiently healed to manage cabin pressure changes during the flight home.
